We always want what we can not possibly get. I have super straight hair and I love a wave or curl at the right place to give it texture as many praises as I get for its silky, smooth appearance. The problem lies in keeping my hair from going back to pin-straight after a morning with a curling iron and product (tons of it). While I’ll probably always envy those that were blessed with beautiful, bouncy natural curls, I want a hairspray that helps me to pretend I’m part of the club, even if it’s just temporary.

So I went on a search and eventually found a hairspray that would keep my curls all day and long into the night. I find all of the best hairsprays featuring an incredibly strong hold with a completely touching finish— no snap, stickiness, or flakes! And for the record, they faced several challenges—such as a complete sunny day sipping wine at a wine festival, dancing at a concert the night away, an intensely humid outdoor sporting event, and killer fitness classes. My curls had remained intact with each of these.
